Q. How do you cold brew tea?

A. It's simple! Place one of our cold brew tea bags into a pitcher and then fill that pitcher with 1/2 gallon (2 quarts) of filtered water.  Make sure the teabag has gotten fully soaked and then just set the pitcher of tea in your refrigerator.  Give it 6 or more hours to release it's flavors slowly, and you have finished cold brew tea.


Q. How do you sweeten a cold brew tea?

A. We give you a recipe on every cold brew tea bag that explains how to do it, but essentially, you heat up one cup of water and add one cup of sugar to it and stir until it liquifies. Use what you need and then just store the rest in your fridge for later.


Q. Are you located in Hawaii?

A. Yes! we are located in beautiful downtown Hilo, Hawaii on the Big Island. If you get a chance to come to Hilo, please look us up and come by to say Hi!


Q. Are all your ingredients locally sourced from Hawaii?

A. No, they are not all locally sourced. We do our best to support local farmers first, so if one of our ingredients are being grown commercially in Hawaii, we team up with local farmers and source from them. Currently, we source locally grown Mamaki Tea, Ginger, Turmeric, Lemongrass, Mangoes, Cacao (Chocolate), and Green Tea.


Q. How do I use loose leaf teas?

A. Loose leaf teas are superior to tea bags because you can make a perfect cup of tea every time. Simply use the reusable teabag included in your bag of loose leaf tea from us, or use a stainless steel brewing basket/ tea ball.  Fill with your desired amount of tea (typically about 1 tablespoon) and let steep for about 5 minutes. Remove the teabag and sweeten if you'd like!


Q. How long does shipping take? 

A. We ship out every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Depending on where you live in the U.S. you SHOULD receive your order within 2-7 days after that. I will say though that the USPS has been experiencing more delays in the last year or so than it traditionally every experienced, so there may be some exceptions to this right now. We send you tracking information as soon as your order ships so that you can keep tabs on it all the way to you!


Q. Are all your teas sugar free?

A. Yes! All our teas come with 0 grams of sugar in them, but we do provide sweetening instructions for you if you would like to try them sweetened.


Q. Are all your teas 100% Organic?

A. No they are not. We prioritize sourcing locally grown Hawaiian ingredients first but we use organic ingredients whenever possible. Right now over half our teas are 100% Organic.


Q. What if I am unhappy with my tea choices?

A. We offer a hassle free 30 day return policy. Not like your tea for any reason at all, just return it to us within 30 days of purchase and we will either replace or refund your order. 


Q. Why don't you have very many tea flavors to choose from?

A. We ONLY put out tea flavors that we know are delicious and different than the others. We take our time developing flavors by running hundreds of small batch microbrews to ensure that our ingredient mixes are just right. That way, our customers are always pleased by what they find in our bags.
